Malloy Environmental and Industrial Consulting Inc. was founded in 2005. John Malloy, Vice President, founding member and author of Water and Wastewater Maintenance Technician, the Guide to the CWWMT I, has been in the water/wastewater industry for over 30 years. The values Mr. Malloy adheres to were instilled by his father James P. Malloy Jr. a founding member of the Arizona Water Pollution Control Association. At a very young age John Malloy learned how noble it is to provide water and wastewater services to the community while preserving public and environmental health. John Malloy brings these values to every service provided by MEIC through the classroom or in field evaluations of treatment facilities.
John is a Certified Environmental Trainer (CET) through the National Environmental Safety and Health Trainers Association (NESHTA) along with 10 years of training and development experience and over 30 years in the water/wastewater industry at progressing levels of responsibility.
John Malloy is the original developer and trainer for the International Maintenance Institute (IMI), Certified Water and Wastewater Maintenance Technician (CWWMT) curriculum, developed in 1999-2000.
The Certified Water and Wastewater Maintenance Technician (CWWMT) curriculum has won two national awards. One from the American Academy of Environmental Engineers (AAEE) in 2004 and the other in 2006 from International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) both for innovation.
